What We Love About Kingsville
Just south of Houston and San Antonio is the county seat of Kleberg County county seat, Kingsville. Kingsville is known for its ideal location, just off the shore of the Texas Gulf Coast. In the early 1900s – 1904 to be exact – the city of Kingsville was founded by rancher Henrietta M. King and named after her husband, Captain Richard King. Following the addition of a railroad to the small community, Kingsville flourished. As the number of railroad workers grew, so did the overall population of the surrounding city, allowing Kingsville to become officially incorporated by 1911. Since then, Kingsville has certainly grown, now housing a population of just over 25,000 people. With its small town charm, Kingsville offers its 30,000 residents and visitors a large number of attractions, restaurants, shops, entertainment, history, and culture. It's home to several colleges, including Texas A&M University-Kingsville, Coastal Bend College, and Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy.
The city features Fortune 500 industrial companies, museums, and sporting events. If you're in the area, we recommend visiting the King Ranch Tours & Museum, downtown Kingsville, seeing a performance by the Kingsville Symphony Orchestra, the John E. Conner Museum at Texas A&M-Kingsville, and the 1904 Train Depot Museum. Texas A&M University-Kingsville hosts many sporting events throughout the year for people to enjoy, including baseball, football, basketball, and volleyball games. Davis Law Group is honored to serve the community of Kingsville, representing them in difficult times. We are dedicated to treating each client with a high standard of care, navigating their case and working diligently to find them the justice that they deserve.
